Mr. Pellin commenced his career with Canadian Pacific Railway Company, leaving to follow his entrepreneurial spirit which led him through a series of managerial positions to becoming a shareholder and Vice-President, Sales, for Bedco, a division of Gerodon Inc.
It was here that he developed and honed his expertise in sheet metal which, coupled with his love of railway, resulted in his inventing and patenting a replacement case and bungalow kit for the railway industry. This innovative system brings significant savings in cost and manpower to the railways while importantly contributing to their safety and operational goals.
As Owner and Chairman of S & C Rail Solutions Inc., Mr. Pellin’s objective is to work with the Railway Industry to provide innovative and cost effective solutions to long standing less than efficient products and processes.
Mr. Pellin is active in the community having coached Bantam, Midget and Junior “AA” Hockey over the years as well as raising in excess of $100,000 for scholarships and charitable organizations.
As a leader and Executive, Mr. Roy successfully increased the growth of several small businesses while ensuring profitability grew at above average net margins.
Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, this dedicated leader with strong belief in valued employee development and customer satisfaction attended Champlain Business College at Bishops University and then moved to Ontario to pursue a career.
His vast experience spans such industries as bus and rail, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Aftermarket as well as owner of his own Transportation business. Mr. Roy began his career with Ontario Bus Industries (Orion) from production of the first bus to a multi-facility international company which grew from 50 to 1500 employees. His most recent accomplishment was the profitable growth of Bombardier Material Solutions Business Unit to an average of 35% per year while implementing SAP software and setting up 2 Distribution sites.
Mr. Roy has also been active in the community having managed Community and House League Minor baseball teams as well as Community Regional Triple AAA Minor Hockey in leagues and tournaments.
As the former Vice-President of Procurement, Real Estate and Environment for VIA Rail Canada Mike Greenberg was responsible for the corporation's purchases and materials management, stations, maintenance facilities, offices and commercial leases as well as VIA's environmental practices.
Born in Montreal, Mr. Greenberg began his career with Canadian National Railways and moved to VIA when the Corporation came in to being in 1977 as Chief Accountant to set up their first Accounting department.
Mr. Greenberg brings an extensive railway background and knowledge to his new role at S & C Rail Solutions Inc which will be a key factor in contributing to the success of the company.
Mr. Greenberg graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Montreal's Concordia University.He is also active in a number of community organizations, serving on the board and executive of the Alzheimer Society of Montreal and former board member of the Centre de Santé et de Services Sociaux de Laval and Past-President of the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital of Laval.
With a solid background in sheet metal production and quality control of all rail related assembles, Tim Pellin is ideally positioned in his new role at S & C Rail Solutions.
Tim assumes responsibility for field operations and installations of the S & C Replacement Case & Bungalow systems.
His practical experience and expertise are a welcome addition to the S & C Rail Solutions Management team.
Mr. Pellin’s community activities include coaching Peewee and Junior Baseball Leagues to winning championships in both categories as well as being an active player himself in the sports of hockey, baseball, football, rugby and golf.
His involvement in, and concern for, the community has resulted in raising in excess of $250,000 for local scholarships and charitable organizations.
A sales and marketing professional who branched out to business start-ups, a partnership and a sales agency serving Canada and Europe with unique products and services, Mr. Boyer brings this valuable background, experience and expertise to his new role at S & C Rail Solutions.
Married with two sons and five grandchildren, Mr. Boyer believes strongly in family and community values and serves on the Board of Directors of the Centre Marc Vanier that has partnered with a Rehabilitation Center to provide housing for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Mr. Boyer is a regular supporter of HEMA QUEBEC as well and is proud of making his 100th blood donation to this essential organization.
A supply and services professional, Mr. Moss brings a wealth of experience to his new role at S & C Rail Solutions Inc.
Born in Montreal, Mr. Moss began his career as a supply salesman and quickly moved to Manager where he brought about a significant and continuing increase in sales.
Building on his success Mr. Moss created Duotroll Corporation, providing employment for more than 100 employees doing millions of dollars in annual equipment sales.
Asked by the Chairman of S & C Rail Solutions Inc to join his Executive team, Mr. Moss gladly accepted the challenge to employ his experience and expertise to the benefit of the Corporation.
Mr. Moss is active in the community, serving as President of the Pierrefonds Oldtimers Hockey Association and the Pierrefonds Homeowners Association. He was also a player and coach of hockey, football, baseball & basketball sending teams to Europe and raising money for handicapped children.
